What up??? Since you're reading this, I'm guessing you've made the choice to make Carson Newman your home for the next four years. I couldn't be more excited to tell you that you couldn't have made a better decision. Through this blog I just want to show you and tell you all about the great things and wonderful people Carson Newman has to offer. I'm going to share my experiences and memories from my time at CN so that you can see just how amazing this is going to be. First, however, I thought I'd share a little bit about myself so you guys can get understand just a little bit better where I'm coming from.
My name is Charlie Ridgely, and I'm from a town called Mount Airy, Maryland. I'm sure none of you have ever heard of it so I just tell most people that I'm from Baltimore. Football brought me to Carson Newman and, though I never actually ended up playing here, I was the mascot for a little while. I was, originally, a Special Education Major but I switched to Marketing at the end of my junior year. In addition to school I'm actively involved in the CN Theatre Department and the Division of First Year and Conference Service. I've been leading Orientation for four years now, and I also work at the local movie theatre.
All summer long, not only will I be posting to this blog, but I will be actively working on making this orientation an incredible experience for all of you.
